Little Stevie Wonder used to
sing "Baby, everything is all right. Uptight out
of sight." Let me ask you a personal
question, "Baby", is your uptight out of
sight? If you looked up the word "stress" in
the dictionary, would you find your picture out beside
it? Does your Mood Ring consistently glow Rudolph Red?
Have you thought the cheery guy on the AM radio show
needs to be throttled? While having decided not to put a
hit out on your boss, do you think at least a sound
beating is in order? Have family members come home to
find you horizontal and eyes closed with a wet rag on
your forehead? Do you pretend your car is equipped with
SCUD Missiles and if so, how many tailgating, speeding,
sudden lane changing black Cameros, with heavy window
tinting and the decal "NO Fear" on the back
window have you blasted off the highway?
If you answered yes to
one or more of these, you might be suffering from a
condition commonly diagnosed as life! The
symptoms? The feeling that youre in some kind of
"rat race" without brakes; and bouts of
hopelessness. Before you dip your chin, though, there is
a hope. No, not a cure, but at least a proven way to run
the race and finish with your head held high. The
treatment? A multiphase plan which includes serious Bible
study, ongoing prayer and regular meetings with the
similarly afflicted. Testimonials are on file confirming
treatment effectiveness.
NorthShore Church is
your local outlet for this miraculous treatment. Find
it in the Inside Out Small Group Ministry. Are you
running the race with style and grace? Is your life all
you want it to be, or, better yet, all that God wants it
to be? Don't settle for the "paste jewelry and
sawdust hotdogs" of the world, go for the real
thing, it's out there. The most difficult thing you will
face with small groups is working up the nerve to go the
first time. Then, as you begin to connect in a group, and
life pours out it's best and worst, you will find shelter
from the storm. Find a group today and start growing!

to call the group leader. If you have general questions
about small groups, speak with Phil Richards at 355-7374.
Were looking for
additional leaders and host homes. If God has gifted you
in either area, let us know! And be sure to tell us if
you need a group that meets at some other time. You can
also reach Phil at 355-7374.
Life Development
Classes
Life Development Classes are an in-depth study option
for any NorthShore attender or member. Intended to
supplement our other small groups, the life classes are a
great way to learn more about the Bible and basic
Christian doctrines.
Wondering Which Way to
Go?
Then join a new study class as they look for some
answers. Biblical Strategies for Successful Living
is a new Life Development Class led by Phil Richards. The
class begins Sunday morning, September 7th at 9:00 a.m.
during the first service. Biblical Strategies will
meet in the main hallway by the childrens ministry
registration table. If you havent yet found a place
to grow, try this new Life Development Class.
