Opportunities to Serve
on Christmas Eve

Come to the Cradle

A new tradition begins this Christmas at NorthShore...Light Christmas Eve services. We will present these services as a special Christmas gift from our church to the people of Flower Mound. Using the arts to provide a fresh, creative presentation of the true Christmas experience, the services will communicate the simple power and deep meaning of the very first Christmas.

Why Christmas Eve? Because Christmas Eve is a time of the year when lots of people consider attending a church service. We are preparing another community-wide promotion to invite everyone in the city to the event. We expect the three services to draw several hundred first-time guests to our church—a fact making the Light services NorthShore’s largest event of the year.

The services will present the birth of Jesus Christ with upbeat renditions of traditional music, media clips and drama vignettes. We’ll sing traditional Christmas carols and have a moving candlelighting time. The Chorus is already working on several numbers which they will present, and some special instrumentalists and brass players are joining our band for the presentations.

We expect a large crowd at each service, so begin thinking about friends and neighbors you want to invite. Services are scheduled for 4:00, 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. Dinner will be provided for service participants who are involved in all three presentations. Free tickets will be available in late November for NorthShore members and attenders to distribute to their friends.
