Elvis used to sing, "Are
you lonesome tonight?" and every teenage
heartthrob would respond, "Well, Elvis, if you're
asking, then, why yes, I happen to be very lonely."
Bobby Vinton sang, "I'm Mr. Lonely, yes, Mr. Lonely,
I have nobody to call my own." Ricky Nelson had a
big hit with his song "Lonesome Town." It
sounds like there must have been a lot of lonely people
in the world back then. I'm no Mr. "Ain't Nothin'
but a Hound dog", but let me ask you this, "Are
you lonesome tonight?" While
I'm asking, "How are you getting along with
people?"
Below is the famous
Four Tier Get-Along Scale which will help you rate
the quality of your relationships:
1 - Great (Hitting
on all 8)
2 - Fair (Need a tune-up)
3 - Deteriorating (Need a major overhaul)
4 - Would Not Stand the Light of Day (Call the
wrecker service, she's totaled)
How would you rate your
relationships based on this simple scale?
Along with the Four
Tier Get-Along Scale we are also providing the proven
"Give & Take Formula" for lasting success
in all your relationships. The Give & Take Formula,
when correctly applied, will reveal why each relationship
scored a one, two, three or four on the Get-Along Scale.
Below is an explanation:
1 - Great - A high
give and take factor between both people, usually both
feel the other is giving more than taking
2 - Fair - A decent amount of give and take,
however one or both persons suspects the other is doing
more taking than giving.
3 - Deteriorating - The give and take is
dangerously low, with one or both personsy accusing
the other of taking more than giving.
4 - Would Not Stand the Light of Day - Give and
take is a distant memory. Too much taking has doomed the
relationship.
Do you want successful

work on your give. Do you need an example to
