If you've
seen the sign marking NorthShore's future home on FM
2499, you probably have a few questions... When will NorthShore begin
building? If everything goes according to plan, we
expect to break ground in late August or early September
1999. Plans for the first-phase building have been
submitted to the city of Flower Mound, and are proceeding
through the design and review process. Land excavation
can begin once the plans have been approved, and once the
church has secured interim financing for construction.

What is the Dream
Team? The Dream Team has been working since
early 1997 to develop plans for the land and buildings of
NorthShore. The primary focus will be the development of
the 19+ acre campus located on FM 2499 in Flower Mound.
The team is currently working with CCG, the church's
builder, and our architect, Jim Hewlett of IntegraService
Group, to create building documents for our first-phase
facility.
Dream Team members
include: Colleen Betsworth, John Harless, Rick Huber,
Robin Lindsay, Scott Lindsay, Donnie Morris, Robin
Morris, Ray Mouhot, Tim Spencer and Kenny Pope. Other
church members have also been asked to join the Dream
Team to make specific decisions about interior finishes,
the children's area, technical and equipment needs, etc.
There are two specific
areas that you can pray about:
1) Financial Needs
- God has given us a great opportunity to impact our
community, and we need to give sacrificially. God does
not ask for equal giving. He asks only for equal
sacrifice. Pray about your part in the Time to Build
stewarship campaign.
2) People - Pray
that God would continue to grow our church, and that He
would continue to use it to reach and develop people.
NorthShore's
19.15 acres of property extends from FM 2499 on the west,
to the power lines that run along the eastern boundary of
the property. The property's northern boundary is the
newly-developed NorthShore Blvd.
