October Celebration Today - NorthShore celebrates an
afternoon of food and fellowship at our property on FM
2499 today. Come out to the land from 4:00 until 6:00
p.m. for recreation, hamburgers, hot dogs and a great
time! Well celebrate a mini-service together at
5:00 p.m. in the exact location of our planned
auditorium. Childcare is provided at Cornerstone
Learning Center, across the street from the property on
NorthShore Blvd. (starting at 4:00 p.m.).Friend Day Is Coming Next
Sunday! - Next Sunday, October 17th,
NorthShore celebrates Friend Day 99. Were
encouraging every attender to pray for, invite and bring
a friend to the Sunday Celebration Service. Dont
miss this special day!
New Community @ Home -
The October New Community worship time meets Wednesday
evening, October 20th, at 7:00 p.m. at the
home of Kenny & Brenda Pope, 724 Canongate, in Flower
Mound. Dont miss the worship, communion and
fellowship. Childcare (birth through age 5) is provided
at the church office starting at 6:45 p.m.
NorthShore 201 -
Were please to offer NS 201, "Discovering
Spiritual Maturity," next Sunday afternoon, October
17th, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the home of
Ray & Jane Mouhot, 2305 Willowood Lane. If
youve attended NS 101, sign up for the class by
marking NS 201 on your green info card.
Women, Interested in an
Evening Group? - If youre interested in a
late-night womens small group starting around 8:30
p.m. (after the kids are in bed and Dads are at home), we
want to know about it! The idea is to meet once a week in

Stock the CCA Pantry
Sugar Shelf - Join the Giles-Miller class as they
lead NorthShore in stocking the CCA Food Pantry Sugar
Shelf. To join in this mission project, bring a
five-pound bag of sugar and deposit it in the NorthShore
CCA box at the main entrance.

& Media
NorthShore Chorus Rehearses in Two Weeks - Sign up
today for the NorthShore Chorus. The Chorus is a
non-auditioned vocal group. The next rehearsal is
Saturday, October 23rd, from 12:00 Noon to
1:00 p.m. The Chorus rehearses in October and November in
preparation for Christmas Eve 1999.
Minister Through Setup
and Tear-Down - Dont forget that Hub Club meets
every Saturday from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. to get Donald
ready for our Sunday ministry, and every Sunday after the
service to tear down equipment and load the truck. A
sign-up sheet for the fall months are available at the
Arts & Media table.
Artists, Actors and
Musicians - If you love to paint, draw, act, play or
sing, we want to put you to work! Check "drama"
or "music," or write "art," on your

Child Dedication Service - In the 10:30 a.m.
Celebration service on Sunday, October 24th,
parents will have an opportunity to commit their children
and their parenting to God. Please speak with Leigh

Are You Ready
for the Battle of the Axe? This Friday, October 15th,
we're going to the Battle of the Axe at Texas Stadium
together. Meet at the church office at 6:00 p.m. Bring a
ticket or $3 to get in, and then money (approx. $7) to
eat at Bennigans afterwards. You must sign-up at
the student table today!

Bring a Friend Day Is
October 17th - The 17th
is "Sunday, Messy, Sunday." Bring your friends
at 9:00 a.m. for "messy" games (not too messy)
and the message, "When Life Gets Messy," and
then stick around for pizza and banana football after the
worship service around Noon. Bring a casual change of
shorts that you can get, well, MESSY!!
