Weekend
Celebration Services at NorthShore are designed
to present basic truths of the Christian faith at an
introductory level, and to convey NorthShore's underlying
theme--"God loves and cares for you." They
contain timeless truths which are meaningful to those
investigating Christianity and to believers alike. The
services address relational, financial, career,
emotional, physical and spiritual issues--the very real
issues people face in their everyday lives.
NorthShore
is committed to presenting Christian truth with relevance
and creativity. Our services use the full
spectrum of art and media to accomplish these purposes.
On any given Sunday, you'll find upbeat, contemporary
music and drama, an eye-catching visual art centerpiece
and a practical, refreshing thirty-minute message by
Senior Pastor Kenny Pope. We often use slide media, mime, movie
clips and other media forms to communicate the service
theme.
Along
with an extended session for babies and
preschoolers, the Celebration Service meets Sundays at
10:30 a.m. at Donald Elementary School, 2400 Forest Vista in Flower
Mound. From FM 2499 or Morriss Rd., just follow the white
directional signs in the median.
New
Community
The
New Community Worship Service helps believers
grow into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. The
messages given at the Thursday evening services include
in-depth teaching from the Bible and are designed to
enhance and deepen spiritual growth.
New
Community presently meets monthly on Thursday nights
at First Baptist Church in Flower Mound (from Cross
Timbers Rd., turn north on Morriss Rd. toward Marcus High
School - First Baptist is on the right). We usually share
a potluck dinner at 6:00 p.m. followed by the service at
7:00 p.m. New Community is an opportunity for baptism,
communion, worship and fellowship. Childcare (birth
through age 5) is always provided.
