(married August 1959); Children, Jeff, Darin, Patrick, and Gwen;

Although most of his life was spent in
Champaign, Illinois, Dwayne and his wife Marlene have also lived in
Kansas City, Chicago, Tulsa, and Upstate New York. In June 1992,
they moved to the Dallas area. Soon after arriving in Dallas, God
began to place on Dwayne’s heart, a burden for families. In
September of 1995, he became unemployed and began to search for God’s
guidance. His direction became clear and in March of 1996,
Dwayne entered Dallas Baptist University to study for a counseling
ministry.
The Collins’
have been members of NorthShore Church since it’s beginning.
Now as Pastor of Christian Life Development, Dwayne wants to be able
to serve you where and how you need to be served. It is his
desire to help individuals and families become stronger in their
Christian growth.
