Dear God,

 

     Just wanted to send you a letter to let you know about my friends.  They attend a local church in Lewisville called NorthShore Church and tell me they really love you.  I just want to ask for your help for them.  They need help in their ministries here.  They have great Children’s classes where the kids learn about you and the stories in your book, but they need people to help out and take turns leading the classes so everyone can participate in the worship service.  When these people worship you can tell they really love you and the messages are a real help in leading people to a daily walk with you.  From the front door to the worship center there are places for people to help out with jobs behind the scenes.  Things like greeting people, moving the podium, working in the tech booth, taking up your offering, creating church publications and the website, and numerous others.  Send people to help with these things.

The youth here are great.  They want to form a band that will praise you in their own services.  They are building a place that they can call their own and enter into worship with you.  They need men and women to help finance, organize and finish the construction of their facility so they can begin to bring their friends to a place where people accept them as they are and love them unconditionally. 

And father the leaders of this church are great men and women who are incredible at what they do.  They want to lead people back to you in this community, but need others to step up and help with the responsibilities, tasks, and finances of running your house.  Father please help them not to be afraid and help them to stay on the task of leading others to you.  Help them to be the kinds of men and women you want them to be.  Let their lives say I am a Christian even without words. 

Father, send people who are broken and wounded here to be healed.  Send the fatherless and the widow, the homeless and downtrodden to them, and give them the heart of compassion to do your will here.  I love these people with all of my heart and believe they are doing your will.  Please Bless them.
