| If you've
seen the sign marking NorthShore's future home on FM
2499, you probably have a few questions... When will NorthShore begin
building? That question comes up often, and the
answer is really in God’s hands. Our Dream Team is
currently doing research and making plans that will be
presented to the church at an upcoming date. We have many
needs and great potential, and all of us need to pray for
the Team as they seek God’s direction and timing.
What is the Dream
Team? The Dream Team has the following purpose:
The team will work together to develop the plans for land
and buildings for NorthShore Church. The primary focus
will be the development of the 19+ acre campus located on
FM 2499 in Flower Mound. This team will conduct meetings
as necessary to come up with a proposal to be presented
first to the staff for approval followed by a vote of the
entire church membership for final approval.
Dream Team members
include: Colleen Betsworth, John Harless, Joe Heimerl,
Rick Huber, Robin Lindsay, Scott Lindsay, Donnie Morris,
Robin Morris, Ray Mouhot, Tim Spencer and Kenny Pope.
There are two specific
areas that you can pray about:
1) Financial Needs
- God has given us a great opportunity to impact our
community, and we need to give sacrificially. God does
not ask for equal giving. He asks only for equal
sacrifice. Pray about your part.
2) People - The
Dream Team is making plans based upon current attendance
projections and studies of similar churches. Our church
is young and does not have a history by which to judge
our future growth. And yet our attendance continues to
climb. We thank God for the growth He continues to send
our way! Every chance that you have, please remember to
invite others to NorthShore. Pray that God will continue
to bring new people to NorthShore.
NorthShore's
19.15 acres of property extends from FM 2499 on the west,
to the power lines that run along the eastern boundary of
the property. The property's northern boundary is the
newly-developed NorthShore Blvd.
