Ministry Gifts
The Bible teaches that God has uniquely shaped each member with
spiritual gifts to minister to the needs of others. Understanding and
using your spiritual gifts is the basis for developing the church’s
ministries.

NorthShore
Ministry Areas
Drama Team
The Drama Team isto
all NorthShore attendees and members who have committed to growth as a
follower of Christ. The Team is used in Sunday Celebration Services to
illustrate and communicate weekly message themes. Whether or not you
have a formal education in theatrical arts, consider a ministry in
this group. Auditions are scheduled throughout the year.
Helping
Hands
The
Helping
Hands
Ministry missions is based on Ephesians 6:7. If you truly receive joy
from helping others in need and pleasing God in the process, then
serving here is the place for you!
Our
purpose is to help those at NorthShore Church who may need special
assistance at various times. Helping
Hands
is a vehicle for the body of Christ to pull together and serve each
other.
If
you have a special gift, talent or just the desire to serve, please
review the following areas in which to be included as a resource
person. Sign up sheet under separate cover:
Food
Preparation
This group will prepare meals in “rotation style” for families who
would appreciate assistance, when needed. This may include families
with a new baby, major illness or loss of a loved one.
Transportation
This group will be available to help transport someone in need,
temporarily. This may include rides to church, grocery store or
doctor.
Handy-man/woman
This group would be willing to help with small home repair
projects such as leaky faucets, fence repair and other general
maintenance items.
The
idea is not to take the place of professionals or family members but
to offer assistance when all it takes is an additional pair of “helping
hands.”
Hospitality
Various
food and refreshments provided for purchase on weekends and throughout
the week. Adult volunteers are needed to manage shifts of high school
students who can earn scholarship monies for youth activities. Further
proceeds benefiting Lake Pointe mission projects.
Outreach
Reaching
out to visitors, neighbors, community. Responsible
for contacting NorthShore Church visitors within 48 hours, providing
to the pastor or other appropriate staff member, any pertinent
requests made by the guest, including a visit by the pastor or staff
member.
Prayer
Team
The
Prayer Team lifts up the needs of the church body, the neighborhood, and the
community on a regular basis as those needs are brought to their

Tape Ministry
The
Tape Ministry copies and distributes tapes of the individual sermons
or entire sermon series. Copy
Sermon Tapes, Label Individual and Series Tapes, Inventory Tapes and
Series, Be Available at the Tape Ministry Table to Sell and Distribute
Tapes.
Tech
The
Tech Ministry provides the proper lighting, sound, and audio/visual
for the worship services. In addition, they assist in issues involving
in-house computers, monitors, and sound systems.

Our
Mission...to
create a warm, friendly and caring environment for all our guests.
Our
Purpose…Is
to accomplish our mission by connecting with our guests from the time
they arrive at our campus until they leave, assisting them in finding
convenient parking, greeting them warmly at the front door, offering
assistance in locating the area of worship for them and their family,
and providing answers to their questions.
Our
Teams…will
perform the following: Facilitate the parking of cars, welcome guests,
and offer assistance; Warmly welcome guests upon entry into the church
building. Assure the guests are connected with someone to help in
location of worship area for guests and family members;
Escort guests and family members to location of children’s
ministry and adult worship area. Assist with connecting guests to
regular attendees; Distribute Worship Guides, assist guests with
seating, collection of tithes and offerings;
Assist in distribution of resource material and answering
questions pertaining to programs and ministries of NorthShore Church.
Worship
The
Worship Team leads the NorthShore body of Christ in worship by
providing the music including vocal and instrumental. The Worship Team
consists of the Praise Team, those providing worship through singing,
and the Worship Band, those providing music through instrument.
