My family: my beautiful wife, Suzy and my
handsome son, William
My role at NSC: I am your Arts & Media
Ministries Pastor. Arts & Media what? Well, basically
I direct all the elements that go into our weekend
Celebration Services. I minister with the music, drama,
visual, media, technical and Hub Club teams. Come join
us!
Personal Story: My parents taught my brother and I
to stand firm in the ways of Christ, and at the age of
nine, I became a devoted follower. As a junior in high
school, I dedicated my life to full-time ministry through
music and the arts. A year later, my father and mentor,
had an unexpected fatal heart attack. Though my life was
turned upside down, God faithfully provided for me.
Spiritual Gifts: Creative Communication,
Leadership, Administration and Craftsmanship
I started working for
NSC: September 23,
1996
Most fulfilling part of
my job: Working with
loving, talented people in the arts and media ministry to
plan and rehearse our weekend services
Recent books I've
enjoyed: Rediscovering
Church by Bill Hybels and In the Arena by
Charlton Heston
What I want everyone to
know about NSC: That
we use contemporary music, drama, visual art and media to
communicate the message of Christ in language everybody
can understand · That we are a caring community of
believers that unconditionally loves every person in
Flower Mound
Favorite book of the
Bible: Matthew.
"The Sermon on the Mount" is one of my favorite
passages.
My hobbies: computers, the Internet,
basketball, soccer and my wife Suzy
I'd give anything to
meet: Lady Margaret
Thatcher or Ronald Reagan
I hope heaven includes: chocolate, Star Trek, pizza and
caffeine-free Diet Pepsi
The smartest thing I've
ever done: Asking my
wife to go out on our first date...to a church Easter
production
The dumbest thing I've
ever done: Trying to
paint my mothers all-wood house (it took me three
months, fifty five-gallon cans of paint and fifteen
brushes). Did I say I have the gift of Craftsmanship?
If I could live at any
point in history...
How about the American Revolution?
The best way to pray for
me: Pray for me as I
lead our arts ministry and plan the weekend Celebration
Services · Pray that God would keep me focused on His
vision for NorthShore · Pray for my wife and I as we
minister together at NorthShore
