Welcome
to a new year at TeamKid! You’ll see some new
faces in our classes this year. Let me introduce a few of
them to you: Susan Padula and Edwena Potter are teaching
the 3, 4, and 5 year old class during the 9:00 a.m.
service. Shirley Damore teaches the 4 and 5 year old
class during the 10:30 a.m. service. Another new face is
Cherie Neudeck. Cherie is teaching the first and second
graders during the 10:30 a.m. service.
Many of our teachers
and helpers are returning for another year in
TeamKid. You’ll recognize some new faces, as well as
a few familiar ones, in the babies and toddler class.
I’ll be teaching the upper elementary children in
both services (in the next few months, grades 1-5 will be
in a combined class during the 9:30 a.m. service).

When you take your children to their TeamKid class this
Sunday, don’t forget to say thanks to your TeamKid
teacher. Our teachers spend time preparing for their
classes. They really care about our children, and they
want the very best for your child.
We want the TeamKid
program at NorthShore to be the best it can be.
That’s why we screen our volunteers, use a
structured curriculum, and sanitize nursery toys and
equipment. If you have any suggestions for making the
TeamKid program more responsive to your needs, let me
know. I’d love to talk with you!
