Originally from: Odessa, Texas
Background: Ive taught preschool
children for eight years, and Ive been a
childrens ministry teacher, childrens summer
VBS and childrens recreation director at different
times over the last ten years. I participate in
childrens ministry-related workshops and classes
each year.
My family: my husband Ken, and my sons,
Michael (9) and Marshall (6)
My role at NSC: I am your Childrens Ministry
Director. There isnt anything more fun than working
with children. I hope to know each child at NorthShore.
Families are important and I want to minister to them as
God leads.
Personal Story: When I was 5 years old, my 8-year
old brother died. Because of this, I yearned for answers
regarding Jesus and heaven. I had to know that my brother
was in heaven and that everything was fine. By the age of
7 I truly understood who Jesus is and what he did for me.
I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and was
baptized. Ive never looked back! Through the years
Ive grown in my Christian walk. I continue to have
a strong desire to teach children of all ages about
Jesus. A child is never to young to learn about God and
His Word.
Spiritual Gifts: Mercy, Administration and Giving

The dumbest thing I've
ever done: Standing on
top of my 6-foot wooden fence and jumping straight down,
which, of course, broke my heel in three places.
Ill never climb fences again!
